Today I will talk about the benefits of using keyword rich websites domains. There are a lot of myths about having a keyword rich domain name and how they help your ranking. Well that is not necessarily the case but here is a bunch of reasons why if you don’t know what you are doing a keyword rich domain could help you by accident.
The #1 benefits of using keyword rich websites domains is that most websites don’t allow you to set your anchor text.. and if you read my other posts you will realize that anchor text is now one of the most important aspects of SEO. With that said if your domain itself has your keyword in it, you have a drastic advantage over your competitors because you will easily be able to get anchor text links without even asking for it.

Also don’t forget to optimize with anchor text for your main keyword either because google will only give you so much credit for a single string of anchor text being repeated. You also have to mix it up and have different words with spaces for example to assure you gain all the benefits anchor text linkbacks can give.
