Leads Formula for MLM Systems

I call this formula the online business relationship formula because this is a formula for building any real online business not just for mlm systems or network marketing software.

We utilize this formula everyday to build successful marketing systems for all of our clients and now we are going to share it with you.
I am a fan of breaking things down into the most simple form possible so here we go.

  1. Build Your List (by generating traffic to a lead capture page)
  2. Build a Relationship with the subscribers on your list
  3. Monetize your list.

Now if look at the three categories you would assume the bigger your list is the more money you will make.

This couldn’t be further from the truth.

Here is the formula.
List Size * relationship influence% = Leads you can monetize

I have seen email lists of 10,000 that have relationship of 0% .. we all know what you get when you multiply by zero..

A perfect example is a purchased genealogy list or auto responder spam list.

NEVER PURCHASE THESE, EVER it is not only a waste of time and money but it hurts your reputation and that plays a massive role in increasing your relationship influence % which is the most important number in the formula.

The beauty of increasing your relationship% is that this will ultimately help build your list size by retaining more and getting more free referrals.

So the moral of this story is treat your list like your associates, don’t just try and monetize them right away. Give them information that you know they can use and develop a relationship with them.

Great post – with great points – it is all about building relationships – that is what makes internet marketing in any format so wonderful – you get to expose yourself and connect with people.

I too have read and followed a lot of Mike Dillards advice – he is definately the real deal when it comes to internet mlm.

Once you build relationships – the residual income is never ending as long as you have continued to fulfill your end of the relationship by providing true value to your connections.

Following this I have been able to make more residual income off of the folks that do not join my primary business than I do in my downline
